• The Jonas Brothers’ ‘lovebug’was Influenced By The Movie ‘Juno’

“The Jonas Brothers’latest single, “Lovebug,” was influenced by Juno, the award-winning movie about a pregnant teenager. According to MTV.com, the guys wrote the song last December while on the Hannah Montana tour. Nick Jonas says they sat down in a hotel room and wrote the song in just 15 to 20 minutes. Nick said, “The vision for the song actually came from some different inspirations. But Juno was one of our favorite movies at the time, and the soundtrack is always kind of odd, so we decided to put those elements in the song, and it came (out) very nicely.” Nick said they draw from a lot of different kinds of music, but that “Lovebug” was inspired by the Beatles.

When it comes to the song’s meaning, the Jonas Brothers say it’s left up to the listener’s own interpretations. But Nick added, “Really, just falling in love with somebody. And (how) if they break your heart — or however it ends — you think, ‘That’s it forever,’until the lovebug gets you (again).”

As for the video, it’s expected out October 15th. The clip is inspired by the novel-turned-move, The Notebook. Kevin Jonas said, “We have a dream of what (the clip) can be. It’s about capturing that idea. We want to make sure it’s always right.”

The Jonas Brothers plan to kick off a world tour in 2009.” [Source]

As you all can see, there is a new layout up here at Nick Jonas Fans. It was made and coded by my friend Trystan. Also now up is all of the main site content. I’m still working on the media center and lyric archive as well as an icon archive now. All of that will be up soon. But yeah, have a look around and be sure to tell me what you all think!

Also, now that all of this is up, updates will be resuming again so keep checking back. :]

• The Jonas Brothers Play the Field

“So that’s why they were at the sporting-goods store.

E! News has learned exclusively that the Jonas Brothers helped celebrate Nick’s sweet 16 birthday last night at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium.

“[Kevin, Joe and Nick] rented out the stadium last night to play a baseball game with some friends,” a source tells us.

The famous trio joined at least 15 of their closest pals (the minimum required for a baseball game) from 10:00 p.m. to around 12:30 a.m.

Just how much did the guys drop on baby Nick’s sweet 16 treat? Upward of $30,000 for the less than three-hour affair.

Just renting the field starts at $25,000. From there, lights for a night game run $5,000, and food and beverages can add up to $500. Want music? Bring your iPod to blast through the stadium for another $500. Staff, amenities and even hired baseball players can be added to the package.

The Brothers, however, preferred to bring their own uniforms. Earlier today, E! reported the band scooped up baseball gear from Big 5 Sporting Goods, including athletic pants and shirts.

A rep for the Dodgers had no comment. The Jonas Camp has yet to return calls.” [Source]

• Demi: Jonas Brothers are classy

“The Jonas Brothers are classy, old-fashioned teens, according to their Camp Rock co-star Demi Lovato.

Speaking about her new friends Demi said: “They’re very classy. You don’t find many teenage guys who are so classy any more, old-fashioned.

“They’re rock stars so you really don’t expect it. They really surprise you to see how nice, intelligent and professional they are.”

She added that Nick, Joe and Kevin made an effort to look after everyone on the set of the film, which premieres on the Disney Channel tonight.

“They’ll buy everyone’s dinners when we go out to eat. When I needed a ride home because it was pouring down with rain, I was just going to walk to the hotel room, but they wanted to make sure that I got there and they drove me in their golf cart.

“It was just very thoughtful, they were raised very well,” she said.” [Source]

“The Jonas Brothers are kind of like the antithesis of Britney Spears. But nonetheless, they’d like to work with her. Everyone wants a piece of Brit!

In their latest venture, the Jonas Brothers are eyeing a duet with Britney. They met her for the first time at the VMAs last week, and apparently Britney offered to give them advice. Shouldn’t be the other way around??!

Joe Jonas tells British magazine Reveal, “We love Britney. It was a real honor to meet her at the MTV Video Music Awards. Her debut album was the first one I bought.”

Nick Jonas says, “She was really sweet and asked us if our record label were treating us properly.” And now the band is hoping to team up with the superstar for a duet.

Kevin Jonas adds, “Nothing’s been formalized yet, but a duet with Britney one day would be amazing.”

It would definitely be a chart topper. People will listen to anything Britney puts out, and the same goes for the Jonas Brothers. So we think a collaboration wouldn’t be that odd at all.” [Source]

“Nick Jonas celebrated his birthday on Tuesday – but one of his gifts gave him a nasty surprise.

The Jonas Brothers star was given a golden retriever by older brothers Kevin, 20, and Joe, 19.

But he had to rush the puppy – who he’s called Elvis – to the vets after they found it couldn’t stop scratching.

A client at the surgery he visited says: ‘We were told we’d all have to wait a little longer because a celebrity was bringing his dog in.

‘It turned out to be Nick Jonas, who came in through a private back entrance. I gather his golden retriever has a tick problem and Nick was coming in for medication.’

The teen stars are currently starring in Camp Rock, which airs on the Disney channel tomorrow.” [Source]
